When I go traveling Airbnb is the only hoteling service that I use to book hotels. You get to live in places you wouldn't have a chance to otherwise. Which is amazing. $abnb

Airbnb is like free money lying on the floor for you to pick up.

They make 800m in q3 alone. That is a lot. Imagine when during non-covid time maybe they'll just make 800m each quarter but it all depends on how this Nu variant is going to impact us. But eventually humankind would exit from this pandemic, and at the end of the pandemic if someone can survive Covid in the hotel industry they're probably gonna be one of them since they don’t own any hotels. It's their hosts that needs to worry about those fixed costs but not them.

premarket -6% is like free money on the ground for you to pick up. You don't have these happening everyday. Does this nu variant change the fact that we're still gonna travel sometimes and no one is traveling abroad at this time anyways? No.

Tourism stocks is coming back

The tape this week is literally saying COVID is going to be a thing of the past. And once this is over you'd just do whatever it takes to get away from your family or your house. And maybe that's why tourism stocks are up a lot this week.

Disney reached all time high already. Even Airbnb rallied on a 20% decrease in revenue yoy. These are signs that the tourism would be coming back.

This is the future of hotels and would be a go to names when you're looking for a place to stay. What's interesting about this is they don't own any hotels but they are the biggest hotel chains in the world, and that also mean they're more recession proof than a normal hotel business.

Also, since their users are offering their space with much lower overhead than a hotel business you're almost guaranteed to book something with great user experience for a much cheaper price.

The valuation is very expensive for the company. But also keep in mind this is a company that sells you a dream in real estates for the hosts. People dream about starting their own businesses and there are lots of success stories doing Airbnbs already.

If you can find a good entry for this maybe you're good for the next 5-10 years.

This company grows 50% very easily and is disrupting the hotel space. Traditional hotels would have a hard time competing with Airbnb because the user experience of staying in an Airbnb is usually great from my past experiences. You get to stay in different units wherever you go. And it's more affordable than traditional hotels.
